Qualification for IIT Delhi Hiring 2020
Project Scientist:- Candidates who wanted to participate for the IIT Delhi Project Scientist job should have 1. Earned their Ph. D. degree from a top engineering research program in India or overseas (must have defended their thesis prior to the interview, and be available to join immediately) in the field of optoelectronic devices/detectors/backplane fabrication, or closely allied fields. 2. inclusive of Ph. D. degree, have at least 5 years of experience in an intensive devices program with extensive hands-on device fabrication and equipment maintenance experience; 3. have the following required experimental skills: sputtering, thermal annealing, Xray diffraction and measurement of detector or PV efficiencies; 4. have the following desirable experimental skills: FESEM and ellipsometry. 5. be conversant with design tools: Cadence/Mentor Graphics/Tanner with at least one of Verilog/ VHDL; 6. be comfortable with writing data analysis/reduction code: Python/ Mat Lab / Fortran 95/C++ etc. 7. show clear evidence of physical reasoning, experimental data analysis skills, and the ability to work in an interdisciplinary team; 8. have at least 10 journal articles in peer-reviewed and respectable journals in the field (published or accepted); 9. International conference experience (in India or overseas) and 10. mentorship experience with junior students.
